Guacamelee! 2 dives on PS4 and PC on August 21st

Pollo from Drinkbox Studios – infiltrated Metroidvania Guacamelee! 2 arrives in the ring on August 21 for PC and PlayStation 4. This is the scheduled follow-up of the 2013 independent studio title, Guacamelee!, And it promises as much luchador flair as the first – this time with even more chickens, four players co -op, and other new features.

Guacamelee! 2 s' presses on the kaleidoscope world of its forerunner, which finds its roots in folklore and Mexican culture. The wrestler Juan Aguacate is once again the hero of the story, coming out of his retirement to save the universe and fight his way through the colorful landscape. Drinkbox has added in a new system that allows Juan to improve his moves by completing challenges, and he's maliciously teasing a "Chicken Illuminati" that can teach "ancient chicken abilities."

Guacamelee! He was nominated by the Independent Games Festival for the Visual Arts Excellence category in 2013. The studio released downloadable content with additional quests and cosmetic items for players as well as a limited edition cabinet in 2017. Before leaving for another adventure in the world, Drinkbox took a break from Severed, a collector's crawler of body parts with a dark cartoon aesthetic, in 2016.
