Half Lovato is still hospitalized at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles six days after an alleged overdose, a source confirmed to Variety.

The singer "Tell me you love me" would suffer from complications related to overdose, including extreme nausea and high fever, reports TMZ.

While doctors have not decided when Lovato can be released from the hospital, "she is in the care of medical experts and should recover completely," said a source at TMZ.

Lovato was found unconscious after an overdose last Tuesday. She was reportedly treated with Narcan – a drug designed to quickly reverse an opioid overdose – before being transported to a local hospital.

"Half is awake and with her family who wants to express her thanks to all for the love, prayers and support," Lovato's representative told Variety last week. "Some of the reported information is incorrect and they respectfully ask for confidentiality and not speculation, because their health and recovery are the most important things at the moment."

Lovato struggled with addiction for years. She revealed in June in her single "Sober" – from her sixth album, "Tell Me You Love Me" – that she had relapsed a few months after celebrating six years of sobriety.
