At the ceremony, President Magufuli was also sworn in to Ambassador Joseph Sokoine as Deputy Permanent Secretary at the Office of the Vice-President. the president appointed the Commissioner General of the Kasike Phaidic Prison with effect from yesterday, replacing Juma Malewa who had retired.
Prior to his appointment, Kasike was head of the Tanzanian Correctional Training Academy (TCTA) in U Konga in the city.
