The AMC-backed virtual reality startup, Dreamscape Immersive, is preparing to open its first permanent site in Los Angeles. The company's first virtual reality center will open at Westfield Century City Mall next month. Four additional sites will follow shortly thereafter.
The new Westfield site will feature 3 experiments at launch, including the company's own "Alien Zoo" experience, a new, original production entitled "Lavan's Magic Spotlight: The Lost Pearl", as well as a new experience. co-produced with Venice, California The startup of VR, WEVR, calls "The Blu: Deep Rescue".
Dreamscape is a start-up company looking to bring virtual reality out of their homes, into malls and cinemas, where consumers can experience more credible immersion with physical benchmarks and the ability to explore virtual spaces without being connected to a PC.
