Kanye West's father was diagnosed with prostate cancer

Kanye West's father Ray was diagnosed with prostate cancer, according to a new report published in TMZ .

Yeezy's father is apparently being treated in Los Angeles right now for prostate cancer – and not for stomach cancer, as has been reported by some.

On hearing the news, we are told that Kanye immediately went to his father's side.

Sources say Ray "responds well" to treatment, and even though it's early in the process, apparently

That would be huge for Yeezy and his family – we know how much the rapper was touched by the death of his mother ten years ago.

I hope that Kanye and Ray will have the physical, mental and emotional help they need while they are going through something as serious. 9003] So, so scary – but I hope that they took things early enough!
