Firmino Important
Liverpool legend John Barnes has named Roberto Firmino as Liverpool's most important player.
Bobby scored in Saturday's 3-0 win over Watford and has five goals in 17 appearances this season.
While the Brazilian has formed a hot trio alongside Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah since the start of the term, Barnes believes his contribution to the team can not be underestimated.
"Firmino is not a classic number nine. He is not a center-forward like Ian Rush or Robert Lewandowski, "said Liverpool legend.
"In many ways, that's why Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah are doing well – because he's giving up that central role and allowing them to score in goals instead of just scoring the goal. It's a perfect system for what Jurgen Klopp wants.
