Dar es Salaam. Interior Minister Kangi Lugola lobbied Police Inspector General (IGP) Simon Sirro on Saturday with a new directive asking the owner of Lugumi Enterprises to do so before July 31st.

The minister also asked the acting director general Andrew Massawe to explain where was Sh32 billion national factory processing identity cards.
He ordered Mr. Massawe to appear before him at his Dodoma office before July 25.
According to Mr. Lugola, a company, which was contracted to install the plant did not do so despite receiving all payments.
"The deadline has expired yet the factory has not been installed that's why I'm asking Nida's explanation," said Mr Lugola.
The former Nida general manager, Dickson Maimu, and other officials face charges related to the saga.
