In addition to the first updated shots of its GT Coupé and Roadster models, Mercedes-AMG also unveiled its new AMG GT R Pro model at the Los Angeles 2018 Auto Show. Advanced race and spectacular design of GT3 and GT4 tracked vehicles, the Pro model is equipped with an improved suspension, an increased powertrain and a new aggressive aerodynamic kit.
Under the hood of the AMG GT R Pro, we find a 4.0-liter V8 bi-turbo engine, reworked to generate 577 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque. With all this power, the car can go from 0 to 60 in 3 seconds flat and reach a top speed of 200 km / h.
To maintain maneuverability, the AMG GT R Pro receives a mechanical overhead suspension, a carbon fiber torsion bar, a rear stiffening structure and ceramic composite brakes. A lightweight aerodynamic carbon fiber package is also included; you will see it in the separator at the front and in the large rear spoiler at reading, while helping to manage the flow of air when using gas. While performance improvements have not yet revealed track-oriented design, matte gray paintwork and green racing stripes will be, both of which are directly driven by Mercedes-AMG's racing efforts.
