If we believe the rumors, the next move from Microsoft may well return to the market of webcams. Several reports suggest that several models might offer compatibility with Windows 10 and Xbox One consoles.
The webcams would have integrated the Windows Hello feature, reports Thurrot.com, allowing you to use the devices to connect with your face on any computer running Windows 10 (until now, this feature was only available on webcams, integrated into Microsoft's line of Surface computers).
You would also be able to log in to your Xbox One account simply by placing yourself in front of the camera, which has not been possible since Microsoft closed the Kinect program. Apparently, one or more cameras will also offer 4K resolution.
The future of the surface
We do not have many other details on what to expect or when these devices could be launched, but we know that the Surface Hub 2, intended for business, comes with one piece joined webcam.
In addition, Microsoft continues to launch new materials with the Surface brand. It is therefore logical that the company is also positioned in the category of webcams. A few days ago, Surface boss Panos Panay insisted that Microsoft's hardware program would only grow in scale and become more ambitious from now on.
We'll have to wait to see what the new year will bring in terms of new products, but if you want to improve the resolution of your Skype calls with your friends and family, or connect to your Xbox One with your face, you may soon have l & # 39; occasion.
