Tanzanian head coach Ammy Ninje asked his fans to return home even though he promised to make some changes in his third match against Rwanda on Saturday
. a precarious state in the current Cecafa Senior Challenge after firing his opening match against Libya before losing to Zanzibar in the second match on Thursday.
"The fans believed in us, we did not play bad against Zanzibar, it was just a lack of desire (on the part of the players)," said Ninje who watched his players give up a goal advantage in a 2-1 defeat against Zanzibar. "We still have a chance, we have to win the other two games, we'll regroup, talk to the boys and tell them we have to win against Rwanda."
Ninje has a mountain to climb with his host, Kenya and Amavibi still standing out of the group.
"I think first of Rwanda game, then I draw attention to Kenya It's going to be a tough match, but we have to fight."
"I'm going check if the guys are in the loop. Tanzania is fourth in the group with one point.
Zanzibar controls the newspaper with six points, Kenya being second on four while Libya has two. Rwanda is basically aimless.
