Scattered showers and storms to end the week

[ad_1]

Chris Franklin – Meteorologist WWL-TV

Scattered storms traverse much of the region today with the greatest accumulation further south of the city and towards the coast. All this comes from a disturbance of the surface and surface that is currently moving to the west. The chances of rain will drop a bit for tomorrow; about 50% for showers and storms. Another higher disturbance will plunge from the north to the top of the top. This will probably increase the chances of rain to 70% on Saturdays and to 60% on Sundays. Tropical Storm Beryl is well formed in the Atlantic. This is the first storm to be named during the hurricane season of 2018 (remember that Alberto's formed before the start of the season). At present, it poses no threat to the land as it is expected to dissipate before reaching the Lesser Antilles. Another tropical disturbance near Bermuda has a medium chance of developing but does not pose a threat to the land either.
