She added that the legal section used to substantiate the statement of appeal does not give the judicial authority the necessary jurisdiction to hear the appeal because this section is false. She therefore requested the court to withdraw her appeal.

In the second argument, the district attorney, Wankyo Simon, stated that the appeal did not comply with the legal requirements set out in Article 362 (1), requiring that the court case be held to be in breach of the law. appeal is attached to the proceedings.

He added that the bail conditions could be challenged, but that the appellants had remained without appeal, with no interest in appealing or asking for more time to appeal.

Appellants Peter Kibatala, Nshalla Lugemeleza and Jeremiah Mtobesya are expected to respond after the prosecution's submissions.
