A judge granted Friday an injunction to protect Stan Lee and his Marvel family from a collector of memorabilia that allegedly embezzled assets worth more than $ 5 million.
Collector Keya Morgan is accused of having isolated Lee from his daughter JC Lee and others, with the goal of exercising control over Lee's affairs.
Earlier in the day, Pro Tem judge Ruth Kleman dismissed another restraining order filed by Lee Lallas. The judge concluded that Lallas, who was fired in February, does not represent Lee.
The new restraining order was filed Thursday by lawyer Stephen Crump. In the application, Crump alleges that Morgan made malicious and false remarks about his daughter to Lee, and prevented Lee's financial advisors from seeing him. The order prevents Morgan from coming within 100 meters of Lee, his daughter, or his brother, Larry Lieber.

Crump filed the second order on behalf of lawyer Jonathan Freund, who has already filed a lawsuit against another associate Lee, Jerardo Olivarez.
Morgan faces two counts of allegedly making two fake calls at 911 in late May. In the first case, he reported that intruders had come to Lee's home, while the police had come to check on Lee's well-being as a result of a report of abuse. In the second instance, he allegedly claimed an assault with a lethal weapon against a security officer who refused to sign a non-disclosure agreement.
