DAWASCO's CEO, Cypirian Luhemeja, and his team are expected to attend today's inauguration of the new pre-paid billing system in Dar es Salaam in Professor Mbarawa's residence and later launch the new system at the Sea Cliff Hotel in Dar es Salaam, according to DA reports WASCO Communications Department

The Minister also said over the weekend that he was to launch the new meters in the margins from his work trip to receive a progress report on the ongoing project of 604.9 million euros. who will implement the planned hydropower project Rufiji at Stiegle's Gorge.

The project which is undertaken by a Chinese company, China Henan International Cooperation Co Limited, is implemented by the Ministry by the Dar es Salaam Water and Sanitation Authority. (DAWASA), and to date, it is 80% complete.
