Dar es Salaam – President John Magufuli will be tomorrow's guest of honor at a special ceremony to receive Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner which will be leased to Air Tanzania Corporation Limited (ATCL).
The Department of Information Services sent an invitation to press houses stating that the Dreamliner should land at the Julius Nyerere International Airport (JNIA).
The aircraft, valued at $ 224.6 million, is one of four government aircraft. This is the fourth plane to be bought by the government.
According to Boeing, the 787 Dreamliner is a family of technologically advanced and super efficient aircraft with new and pleasant features for passengers.
The 787 Dreamliner will provide Air Tanzania unparalleled fuel efficiency and environmental performance, using 20 to 25 percent less fuel and 20 to 25 percent less emissions than other aircraft previously used
