Tanzania: Majaliwa brings mourners to pay their last respect

Dar es Salaam – Prime Minister Kassim Majaliwa led relatives to pay a final tribute to 62-year-old Korogwe Rural MP Stephen Ngonyani.

Ngonyani died Monday, July 2, 2018, at the Muhimbili National Hospital (MNH).

His body will be rested Thursday in the village of Mndolwa in the district of Korogwe.

Speaking during the event, Mr. Majaliwa urged family members to remain united during the "Stay patient by praying for our soul to be in eternal peace," he said.

A family representative, Mr. Stephen Kagaigai, stated that Ngonyani fell ill on June 17 while attending the ceremony. he was sent to Dodoma hospital

. He was referred to MNH for further treatment as his health deteriorated.
