Dodoma – The Tanzanian Ministry of Finance and Planning plans to spend about 11.9 trillion shillings in the next fiscal year, starting July 1.
This was revealed Monday, June 3 in Parliament by the Minister of the role, Mr. Philip Mpango, when tabling the draft budget for the year 2019/20 of his ministry.
Dr. Mpango said that of the 11 900 billion shillings, some 11.2 trillion shillings were intended for recurrent expenses, the rest being for development projects.
