Ms. Mhagama said yesterday that the government had completed the identification of the members of the pension funds that were amalgamated.

"We are connecting the electronic systems of the merged funds, and I would like to say that everything has gone well, and at the present time we are waiting for the appointment of new members of the board of directors.

Ms. Mhagama added that the management structure was in place and that the PSSSF would absorb the members of the four merged pension funds.

"Some staff members were employed on temporary contracts. The incoming board will solve this problem, "she added.
