Kia has officially unveiled the 2020 Soul at the 2018 Los Angeles Auto Show. Among the highlights: a new 2-liter engine, more technology and new versions.
Kia's new soul has completely changed. In the design department, Kia has equipped the new 2020 Soul with thin DRL, a larger grille grille that benefits from two-color treatment, mounting points for the roof rack and sharper edges.
The new Soul stretches for a length of 165.2 inches (2.2 inches more than its predecessor), while the width and height remain unchanged at 70.9 inches and 63 inches, respectively. The wheelbase has however been increased from 1.2 inches to 102.4 inches.
Inside the cabin, the new Soul Kia can be equipped with a 10.25 inch HD color touch screen (standard for EX, GT-Line) compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. In addition, customers can specify an 8-inch head-up display, a multi-connection Bluetooth connection, and a 640-watt Harman Kardon audio system with 10 speakers and a subwoofer.
Under the hood, the new Kia Soul can be equipped with a 147-liter 147-hp two-cylinder Nu engine paired with a six-speed manual or CVT transmission, but also a more zipped engine with a turbo unit. 1.6 liter (201 hp) coupled with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.
Three different styles are also available for the new Soul – GT-Line (sports jaws, 18-inch alloys, leather steering wheel and shiny mirrors), X-Line (plastic liner, all-terrain accents, 18-inch alloys) , two-tone paint) and EX Designer Collection (18-inch black temples, LED lights and fog lights, two-tone roof).
