According to the 9to5Mac report a proof of dual-SIM functionality was found in the firmware diagnostic reports of the iOS 12 beta 5 which indicated references to "second SIM status" and a "second SIM tray status ". Reports have suggested that the larger iPhone X will be private to get this feature and only in the selected regions.

Many other smartphone manufacturers have already used dual SIM functionality in their devices, including Samsung's biggest competitor. Many people have a dual SIM card where one can be work-related while the other can be for your personal use. Having a dual SIM phone will allow you to answer calls on both SIM cards in one device. It is high time that Apple catches up with this trend.

In more recent news about Apple, images of what is claimed to be dummy units from two of the three expected new iPhone models appeared online. Popular forecaster Ben Geskin has shared footage of what he claims to be the dummy units of the more luxurious 6.5-inch iPhone X Plus and the affordable 6.1-inch LCD iPhone.

The images do not really give us anything new to geek out, but confirm older reports that said the 6.1-inch iPhone would feature a single-lens configuration while the iPhone X Plus Premium would get a dual lens camera setup.
