FRANCE's jubilant players crushed the post-match press conference of their coach, dancing and singing while spraying champagne and water.
French coach Didier Deschamps, the only third player to win a World Cup as a player and coach, addressed the media after his team's 4-2 victory over Croatia. But he was briefly interrupted by a group of players, some still in uniform, some shirtless and others wearing their winner's medals around their necks.
Some players even got on the conference table and dance like Deschamps with others.
Deschamps says "Sorry, they are young and happy." The victory at the Luzhniki stadium gave France a second World Cup title and Deschamps was the captain of the team that won the title. at home in 1998.

But Deschamps is not the only French to be harassed by jubilant players, with the president Emmanuel Macron Paul Pogba and Benjamin Mendy inside the hangars after the game.

Another president has also made himself known. Donald Trump congratulated France for winning the World Cup final while congratulating the tournament hosts Putin and Russia "for organizing a very nice World Cup tournament – one of the best!"
While the wild scenes of the Champs-Elysées and all over France were cheerful, the authorities deployed additional security forces to keep order amid rumors of riots.
