A film from Venom without Spider-Man seems like a difficult bet, but the footage filmed by Sony exclusively at the Comic-Con 2018 has nonetheless excited the fans. During the Sony films panel in San Diego's Comic-Con Hall H, Tom Hardy Venom neatly told the story in the Lethal Protector comics. "[Eddie] is an anti-hero, so he's going to be on a goal, and he'll do everything he can to get there," he said. Earlier at SDCC, Hardy revealed why he took the role.
Ahmed said during the panel that Carlton Drake is a "billionaire genius inventor" who tries to answer the question of "what does the future of humanity look like" with the Earth is at the edge of the # 39, ecological collapse.
