Quentin Tarantino is back, and he made a big casting with him. Tarantino Once upon a time in Hollywood goes back to Los Angeles in the summer of 1969, with the specter of the Manson family in the background. Once upon a time in Hollywood must be the most anticipated film of Quentin Tarantino's entire career. No other film from the pulp Fiction The director has generated as much buzz, attention, hype. Part of this hype comes from the big distribution here – more about it in a bit The film has also sparked a fierce war, some studios going beyond to try to seduce Tarantino. Warner Bros. would have decorated an entire office with furniture and movie posters from 1969, and put cars from the 60s on the parking lot. In the end, Tarantino went with Sony.

Then, Tarantino explores the Manson family, which gives a pause immediately. The filmmaker is not known for his good taste. Will he exploit the terrible crimes of Manson? Or does he have something else in his sleeve? We will have to wait and see. Anyway, I'm excited for that. Tarantino has become more controversial over the years, but he remains a filmmaker that I want to pay attention to. I distinctly remember the coldness of his Hateful Eight was received by some when he arrived, and many thought the movie was too brutal, too sadistic. However, here, in 2019, the film seems almost oddly pre-cious, as if Tarantino knew exactly where we were heading as a country.

• Kurt Russell, Tim Roth, and Michael Madsenall in undisclosed support roles.

• Dakota Fanning Squeaky Fromme, a disciple of the Manson family, who then attempted to assassinate President Gerald Ford.

Once upon a time in Hollywood It was supposed to open on August 9 to coincide with the 50th anniversary of the Tate – LaBianca killings, but the date was later changed – which is probably a good thing, as keeping it on that date was a little more disgusting. Now the movie is going to open July 26, 2019.
