Quentin Tarantino wants the premiere of "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood", presented at the Cannes Film Festival, to be a trouble-free area. The director went on Twitter on the eve of the debut on the red carpet to implore the media and others present at the event at unbeatable price to avoid saying too much about the movie.
"I like movies, you like movies," wrote Tarantino on Instagram and Twitter. "It's the journey of discovering a story for the first time."
"The actors and the team have worked so hard to create something original and I'm just asking everyone to avoid revealing anything that would stop later viewers from experiencing the movie in the same way, "he added.
"Once upon a time in Hollywood" takes place in the late '60s. Charlie Manson and Sharon Tate are said to be characters. It is unclear whether Tarantino (who avenged Hitler in "Inglourious Basterds" in a machine gun frenzy) will depart from the story as he attacks the famous Manson murders. Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt play a movie star and his double, while Margot Robbie plays Sharon Tate. The film is also performed by Emile Hirsch, Al Pacino, Dakota Fanning and Kurt Russell.
