Tarek El Moussa positive for COVID, has an impact on his show and on “Selling Sunset”

Tarek El Moussa has COVID-19, which means her TV show is halting production, but she’s also making waves for her fiancee, Heather Rae Youngis the hit show on Netflix.

The HGTV star’s rep told TMZ … Tarek came back with a positive result recently, and after seeing his doctor, he decided to quarantine himself and take a break from filming his series, “Flipping 101 “. After his quarantine period, he will return to the show.

We are told that Tarek will be quarantining himself with Heather, who has not tested positive, but will also take a break from “Selling Sunset”. BTW, they are both fully vaccinated – and the rep says Tarek has no symptoms at the moment.

Production sources say filming on ‘SS’ was halted last Friday – and everything is going on standby out of excess of caution. The two stars want to do things in the safest and most responsible way possible.

There is also this… we are told that there are suspicions that Tarek’s result was a false positive. We’re told he’s had several negative tests since testing positive, but has pulled out of production … just to make sure everyone around him stays healthy.
