Target revives 20 coveted limited collections this weekend

Target is resurrecting its many collaborations with designers this weekend, including Lilly Pulitzer, Hunter, Anna Sui and Missoni.

The bullseye-themed retailer is famous for its limited collaborations with different designers and brands, dating back to its inaugural partnership of 1999 with the late architect and product designer Michael Graves. In total, the company is associated with 175 brands. On Saturday, Target is celebrating its 20th anniversary.

In total, 20 of these branded partnerships will be relaunched in stores and online, and will continue until stocks run out. About 300 products from these collaborations will be sold in various categories, including clothing and decoration. Prices range from $ 7 to $ 160.

Shoppers and Target employees have been using Twitter to share their experiences in the stores and online so far.

Target's limited-edition collaborations, including its recent Vineyard Vines and Hunter teams, have been known to attract crowds and sell quickly. This has provoked mixed reactions among buyers: joy for fans who find themselves with the desired products and frustration on the part of those who miss it.

During this operation, Target has put in place some measures to avoid the crash that usually accompanies these limited versions. Shoppers will be limited to five items "by size and color," according to the company. Until now, there does not seem to be much evidence of a rebellious buyers or chaotic stores on Twitter.

Prior to the relaunch, Target had also recommended that customers read their online look book online so they could prepare.
