Target Corp. said sales had grown steadily in its most recent quarter, as demand for housewares and home office supplies continued to grow during the pandemic, as shopping moved online.
Comparable sales, from stores or digital channels that have been in operation for at least 12 months, increased 20.7% in the quarter ended Oct. 31 as more shoppers came to stores, spent more on each visit and online sales have skyrocketed. Comparable digital sales more than doubled in the quarter, the company said.
