At 1330, the lines started moving to the Target in Cityplace in Dallas after the workers started manually entering barcodes into the logs.

Maggie McLean, 43, of Dallas, had just entered the super objective of Skillman and Abrams northeast Dallas with her six-year-old binoculars when the store announced the release of the scanners.

At that moment, she decided to "walk slowly" the bass drum. "We looked at a lot of things and the girls had a toy, some Barbie stuff," said McLean.

This target has still not fully recovered from the power outage of Sunday's storm. Most refrigerated cases are still empty.

"We are going to another store for our cold stuff," she said.
