Taylor Hanson and his wife Natalie welcomed their seventh child.

The 37-year-old singer broke the good news on Instagram on Thursday, taking to the site to reveal her bundle of joy name: Maybellene Alma Joy.

He also shared that she was born on December 7.

In the image, the MMMBop singer could be seen wearing a gray button-down shirt with a blue denim jacket as he held his daughter.

The musician later posted a video of himself performing a song called Sound Like Joy.

The video was shot at the historic Vernon AME Church, and Hanson has attached a link to a GoFundMe page for the restoration of the structure.

At the end of the video, a dedication was placed on Maybellene and her date of birth was shown.

Hanson and his wife Natalie first met in 2000 and married two years later.

That same year, the new couple welcomed their first child, a son named Jordan, born on Halloween day.

Soon after, the couple added three more sons and two more daughters to their family. Maybellene is the newest member of the brood.

In a recent interview with People, Natalie explained her name selection process and how she preferred to use ones that weren’t traditional or hadn’t been used in years.

“ I love finding gemstones that are still unfamiliar enough that people squirm a bit when they first hear them, but over time it just seems completely obvious. ”

She also felt the couple took their time deciding on Maybellene, adding that they had not intentionally rushed the process.

“Sometimes the perfect name is a long-standing love just waiting for the chance to come to life, other times you have to explore and patiently search for the name that awaits you.
