Taylor Swift has confirmed that “William Bowery” is her boyfriend Joe Alwyn and that he has co-written two songs on “Folklore”

Other fans noted that there was also a bar called The Bowery at the intersection of Sunset Boulevard and Vine Street in Los Angeles, which could have significance for the couple after “Sunset and Vine” was used as lyrics in Taylor’s 2017 song, “Gorgeous” which some have speculated is about Joe.
