Taylor Swift played on "GMA" to re-record Big Machine's songs

LOS ANGELES (Variety.com) – Taylor Swift played on "Good Morning America" on ABC as part of the preparation for the release of his new album "Lover". The singer played three songs, but she also provided more details about her plans to re-record songs from her previous albums.

"Something very special to me about this album is that it's the first one I'll own," she said of "Lover". When asked by Robin Roberts about the re-registration of his old material, Swift replied, "Yeah, that's right and it's something that I'm very passionate about." My contract states that as of November 2020 I will be able to start re-recording albums 1-5 I think artists deserve to own their own work.It's next year I'll be busy. "

"I think it's important that artists own their work," she added.

It was also revealed that it would occur to open the VMAs.

The news of Swift's project to re-record his previous articles was unveiled yesterday as a preview of his interview on CBS This Morning. "Absolutely," she said, when asked if she was planning to do it.

Swift was grieved earlier this year when his rights to his previous albums had been acquired by his manager, Justin Bieber's Scooter Braun, as part of his acquisition of Swift's previous Big Machine Records label. She called the purchase "my worst scenario".

After the interview, Swift interpreted "You must calm down" and "Me!" of the new album, before concluding with "Shake It Off".

Swift will also be playing on YouTube today and on SIriusXM tomorrow.
