On Tuesday, Taylor Swift shared the full lookbook of her future collaboration with British designer Stella McCartney, revealing that her new clothing line would be available for the first time in a New York pop-up shop from August 23-25.
Faithful to the soft and pastel aesthetic that the 29-year-old pop star adopted in the months leading up to the release of her new album "Lover" (also available Aug. 23), the Stella x Taylor Swift Collection weighs heavily on pale tones and illustrations in the airbrush and tie-dye.
Highlights include a white satin bomber jacket with a winged heart, t-shirts and hoodies with a picture of Swift's new cat, Benjamin Button, and round neck tees addressed to "my sweetheart" .
Some styles also carry unpublished lyrics of "Lover," including "like a Tennessee" and "summer is a knife". also adorn several pieces, as well as the list of songs of 18 songs.
When Swift announced her collaboration at an Instagram Live in June, she described her 47-year-old friend McCartney as "a woman I respect so much," explaining: "I respect what she creates, how she creates it. She creates so much fantasy, imagination and romance that she creates clothes, and I have worn her clothes a lot lately.
Swift continues, "She heard the new album and this new collaboration is inspired by the album" Lover "(…). I'm so excited about it and really excited that she wants to collaborate this way. "
The awards for the collection, which fans can view in their entirety on the Swift website, have not been announced yet.
