Taylor Swift confirmed in an Instagram post that she was behind the mural with a butterfly in the Gulch neighborhood in Nashville.

Rumors have drawn hundreds of Swift fans to the scene throughout the morning of Thursday, after the wall mural, which began there last week, has been updated.

"Did I put the butterfly in? Yeah," Swift said in the post.

She confirmed that she had commissioned Kelsey Montague, street artist, the colorful and tall wings of buildings.

Montague painted one of Swift's favorite murals in New York, the musician said.
