On Monday evening, Teamfight Tactics lead designer Stephen “Mortdog” Mortimer gave the auto-chess community a preview of what to expect in the upcoming patch 10.17. Due to go live on Wednesday, there are plenty of small tweaks to the numbers being rolled out and the team feels confident in the current state of the meta ahead of Set 4’s launch in September.
Posted on his official YouTube channel, Mortimer dissected what works and doesn’t work and why certain changes were made.
Features
Sniper- 10/18% bonus damage per hex reduced to 9/16%
Champions
Jarvin- His armor is reduced from 45 to 40.
Poppy- His magic resistance changed from 30 to 35.
Blitzcrank- Her base armor receives a 33% buff, from 45 to 60.
Cassiopeia- Her spell damage once she has 3 stars increased from 3000 to 3500.
Neeko- Her spell damage once she has 3 stars changed from 500 to 450.
Master Yi- Her ultimate’s true damage increased from 75/100/150 to 70/95/145.
Shaco- Its base armor is reduced from 25 to 20.
Torn up- His base HP is pumped from 800 to 850 and his magic resist sees a 50% increase (from 20 to 30).
Xerath- The five cost champion has his spell damage increased to 320/440/2500 from 300/400/2500.
Disembarkation gangway The pirate is too strong and his spell damage has been reduced from 550/700/9001 to 525/675/9001.
Articles
Hand of justice Reworked item damage or healing bonus increased from 50% to 45%.
The resolution of the Titan The item’s maximum number of stacks has been changed from 50 to 25.
The exact time the patch will go live is not known at this time, but it is expected to be between the usual hours of 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. PT.
