They know a thing or two about maintaining magic.

Ted Danson and Mary Steenburgen admitted they were ‘still madly in love’ after 25 years of marriage as they covered the cover of PEOPLE’s first annual love issue.

The couple reflected on their relationship after quarantining themselves for the past nine months amid the global pandemic at their home in Los Angeles.

Mary, 67, admitted ahead of their socially estranged photoshoot that they ‘have been alone except for today for nine months’.

She added: ‘And we decided to stay together. ”

Danson, 73, rang the bell: ‘Every morning we have a choice. It’s a rule.’

The couple first met when they auditioned to play her husband in the 83 film Cross Creek – and didn’t get the part.
