Teenager killed, man shot and injured in NJ Walmart parking lot

Gunfire in the parking lot of a Walmart in Burlington Township claimed the life of a teenager and left a man in hospital.

Shots rang out just after 10 p.m. Thursday outside the store on Mount Holly Road.

A 17-year-old man was shot dead. He was taken to Cooper University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

A 44-year-old man who was injured was in stable condition.

The names of the victims were not disclosed.

The store was open at the time of the shooting.

Police were reviewing surveillance footage as they searched for a suspect and the investigation was ongoing.
