Telegram was the most downloaded non-gaming application in the world in January 2021 with more than 63 million installations, or 3.8 times its download in January 2020. The countries with the most Telegram installations were India with 24%, followed by Indonesia with 10%. Starting today, anyone can bring their chat history including videos and documents to Telegram from apps like WhatsApp, Line, and KakaoTalk. It works for both individual and group chats.

—WhatsApp on iOS, open the Contact Info or Group Info page in WhatsApp, tap Export Chat, then choose Telegram from the Share menu.
