Tennessee authorities have charged many a man on Friday with the deaths of seven people in two locations last month.

"The situation has worsened, for reasons under investigation, and has resulted in at least one officer firing with his service weapon, hitting Cummins," TBI said.

Cummins was released from the hospital on Friday, after which he was charged and jailed, according to the press release.

The BIT had previously said that among the dead were Cummins' parents, David Carl Cummins and Clara Jane Cummins, as well as his uncle Charles Edward Hosale.
