Terrence Clarke Engages in United Kingdom for John Calipari's Victory

Kentucky basketball had not clinched a leading commitment for four years.

The wait is over. Terrence Clarke of Brewster Academy in Wolfeboro, New Jersey, is on Saturday against the Wildcats. Athletic was the first to announce the news as Clarke, with a delay of 13 hours. The announcement at Vine Street Community Center in Roxbury, Mass., Is waiting to be joined by his family.

Clarke chose the UK rather than Boston College, a finalist in his hometown. A profile article on Clarke was featured on the front page of the Boston Globe Saturday morning. But British Columbia's chances were slim – Kentucky held 100% of the analyst's forecast for its commitment to the 247Sports crystal ball.

Currently ranked No. 3 nationwide in the entire 2021 class, he told Bleacher Report that he would reclassify himself by 2020. Kentucky also remains in the running for the five-star guards 2020, Cade Cunningham and Jalen Green, two of the top five hopes in the 247Sports composite.
