Tesla can equip S and X models with long-range engines

There is no timetable for the moment when the engines, nicknamed Raven, will reach the transport cars. The forecasters claim that the plants could come "relatively soon" along with improvements to improve the charge rate.

If the rumor is accurate, it would be a logical step for Tesla. A longer range is an obvious selling point and could help Tesla defend itself against competing Audi and Mercedes electric vehicles. In the meantime, faster charging may be needed if Tesla wants to get the most out of its third-generation Superchargers. The biggest question is whether PMR would have a significant impact on the price. Although it is quite affordable to sit in the 3 model, it has not yet been used in Tesla's most powerful cars.
