Tesla CEO, Elon Musk, teases something mysterious Thursday: unveiling model Y?

[ad_1]

Tuesday evening, Tesla's CEO, Elon Musk, told something that was happening Thursday at 2 pm Pacific time, without revealing more details.

What could it be?

Tesla has not had a big announcement or announcement since the launch and unveiling of the Tesla Semi and the next generation Roadster in November 2017.

We know that some things will happen soon, but we do not have a specific timeframe for the release of these new products and updates.

Now, Musk is teasing something that will be announced Thursday at 2 pm Pacific Time:

It has not revealed any other details about what will happen tomorrow afternoon.

What could it be?

Electrek's Take

First of all, is there something Tesla or SpaceX?

Historically, when it comes to announcing teasing ads, Elon does it more with Tesla than with SpaceX.

SpaceX has just been allowed to test the launch of its new Crew Dragon spacecraft, which is great news, but that should not seem to be happening until Saturday.

Therefore, I think it might have more to do with Tesla – although I could be wrong.

If I had to guess, I would say it might have to do with the Y model.

Elon has already talked about unveiling the Y model in March 2019.

Could Tesla announce the unveiling and send invitations to the unveiling on Thursday?

Prior to launching the production version of Model 3, Elon had posted a similar tweet announcing the date on which they would release more details about the launch of the vehicle.

It could also be just wishful thinking on my part.

If it's good Tesla, I can also see some other possibilities, such as a Supercharger V3 announcement, a 3.0 version of the autopilot or a powertrain upgrade models S / X.

It could also have nothing to do with Tesla or SpaceX. This can be an announcement from Boring Company or even Neuralink.
