Tetris 99
Nintendo
Nintendo released an online battle royale version of Switch's iconic puzzle game in February, now available offline.
The maker of Mario tweeted The release of Tetris 99 Big Block Thursday. Priced at $ 9.99, the downloadable content adds an offline mode to Tetris 99 in which players will compete against 98 computer-controlled competitors instead of competing online against human players. Marathon mode is also included. This is the traditional way of seeing how long a player can last.
Nintendo surprised a lot of players by revealing the new approach of the classic game of line compensation. Tetris 99 was available for free for all Nintendo Switch users. However, as this was an online game only, those who wanted to play needed a subscription to the Nintendo Switch Online service, which costs $ 19.99 a year or $ 3.99 a month.
To celebrate the 35th anniversary of Tetris, Nintendo will hold its third Maximus Cup starting May 17 at 12:00 (Pacific Time) until May 19 at 11:59 pm. PT. All Tetris 99 players participating in an online competition during this period may receive points if they rank well. The 999 players with the most points will receive My Nintendo Gold Coins for use in the Nintendo eShop.
