The stalemate around Deshaun Watson and the Houston Texans will officially continue until the 2021-22 season.
The Texans ruled out their Pro Bowl quarterback for Week 1 against the Jacksonville Jaguars with the “Not Injury-Related” designation. Watson remains on the Texans’ active roster of 53, but will not be among the 48 players who adjust on Sunday.
