How does it all work? How did Arkansas go from miserable, to decent, to 3-0 and with a realistic chance of beating a Top Ten team?
The defense has been great, the offense doesn’t return the ball enough to matter and the lines have been solid from the start.
It’s basic – Arkansas has been good at blocking and tackling.
The ground attack came – tearing Texas apart for 333 yards – with a vast array of options. With the running game and the emergence of QB KJ Jefferson as the top playmaker, the O is doing more than enough to accompany the D’s play allowing for 263 yards per game.

Why Texas A&M will win
Defense is fine.
The Aggies provided enough work for QB Zach Calzada to measure up in an easy 34-0 win over New Mexico, but he doesn’t have to bomb that.
As always, Texas A&M like to go at their own pace, but controlling the clock only works if the defense can enjoy the rest.
A&M gave up yards against the Kent State offense which increases production on everyone, but that was no problem in the 41-10 win. Colorado only managed 260 yards and New Mexico did nothing with just 122 yards.
