SANFORD, Florida (AP) – A 9 year old Texas boy who has been missing for more than a year has been found safe in Florida with his father.
Sanford police said his father took Joshua Graham to Texas in 2017. According to the authorities, Kenneth Graham, 52, did not have custody of his son and did not tell his mother that he was taking it.
According to authorities, they located father and son on Saturday while they were investigating a suspicious vehicle.
The child had been missing earlier this week. The police did not explain why it had not been reported earlier. The boy is assigned to child protection officers until he can find his mother.
The Orlando Sentinel reports that Texas officials could be subject to criminal charges.
