A child was killed and five others seriously injured when the go-kart they were driving was struck by an SUV in Kaufman County, Texas, outside of Dallas, according to reports.
College Mound Fire Department tweeted he had been called to the scene of an incident which left children, aged 7 to 12, dead.
One child died at the crash scene, while three others were taken by helicopter to hospital and two were taken by ambulance.
The driver of the SUV was not injured, firefighters said.
