Texas Rangers vs. Houston Astros – 4/20/19 choice, chances and forecasts of MLB

The Houston Astros and Texas Rangers will meet to continue their MLB series on Saturday.

In the first match of Friday, the Astros scored four points in the first two rounds before winning 7-2.

For Saturday's game, the Astros will send Gerrit Cole for the start. In his 25.0 innings and 1 or 2 records this year, Cole has a points average against 3.24 with 36 K and six goals.

The Houston hitter came into action on Friday. Jose Altuve scored a two-point shot and finished with three RBIs. George Springer finished with two hits, a race and an RBI for the Astros.

On the side of the Rangers, they will accompany Adrian Sampson Saturday. In 13.2 heats and a 0-1 record this season, Sampson has a 5.93 ERA with nine K and six goals.

The Rangers were only able to get four hits in Friday's loss. Two of these hits belonged to Joey Gallo, who recorded an RBI and a race in Texas.

The Astros are 18-5 in their last 23 games Saturday and 47-19 in their last 66 games in the second game of a series. Houston is 9-2 in Cole's last 11 starts with five days off and 9-3 in his last 12 starts in the second game of the series.

Meanwhile, the Rangers are 5-1 in their last six of the second game in a series and 3-7 in their last 10 games on Saturday. Texas are 1-4 in Sampson's last five starts and 5-2 in their last seven games on Saturday.

Cole lost two games this year, but he also had four consecutive high quality starts and only nine points combined in that quartet.

As for Sampson, he played two good relief games earlier this year but lost seven points in 4.0 innings against Oakland. I'm expecting Sampson to achieve a better result here, but with the way the Astros play to start the season, I have to fight against Houston for the win.
