A Texas teacher who publicly complains to President Trump on Twitter about "illegal students" in her school district is at risk of being fired, reports the local KXAS news channel. Georgia Clark, an English teacher at Carter-Riverside High School, tweeted in May on behalf of Trump that the Fort Worth Independent School District was "busy" with undocumented students. "Anything you can do to eliminate the stowaways from Fort Worth would be greatly appreciated," she wrote. The Washington Post. Clark also allegedly asked Trump to protect his identity, saying that Texas "will not protect whistleblowers" and that Mexicans do not "respect our flag". According to documents from the district, Clark reportedly told an investigator that she was a private message addressed to the President Account. KXAS announced that the school district was holding a meeting Tuesday night to determine if Clark would be fired.
The district records obtained by the local station also indicate that Clark had been the subject of an investigation for immigration-related remarks, including a case in which she called a group of "Little Mexico" students and asked a student to show his "papers saying: [they are] when they asked to use the toilet.
