PHOENIX – Milwaukee Bucks goalie Thanasis Antetokounmpo entered NBA health and safety protocol on Saturday afternoon and was listed as absent for Game 5 of the NBA Finals later that night.

Antetokounmpo, the older brother of NBA two-time MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo, was not on the 1:30 p.m. league injury report before appearing in the 5:30 p.m. edition.

Antetokounmpo, who turns 29 on Sunday, has played a total of 45 minutes in 13 playoff games. He played 93 seconds in Milwaukee’s victory in Game 3, the only time he played the first four games of the NBA Finals.

Phoenix Suns star Chris Paul missed the first two games of the Western Conference Finals after testing positive for COVID-19.
