Thanks to Samsung and Verizon, 5G is about to put you on the scene

Ready or not, 5G data is on your doorstep. Samsung and Verizon have made this fact perfectly clear. Last Wednesday, Verizon illuminated its 5G network, claiming that he is the first in the world. Two days later, the largest phone maker on the planet began selling its first 5G device, the Galaxy S10 5Gin his home country, South Korea. These two events prove that 5G has started well.

I tested Verizon's old 5G network in Chicago, one of its two launching cities. Some results have been encouraging, but my experience has shown how much Verizon needs to make its newborn network stable enough to support phones like Moto Z3 with a 5G Moto Modand the Galaxy S10 5G, when this device arrives in the United States.

The exact launch date of Samsung in the US has not been confirmed, but the S10 5G would have gone on sale pre-order on April 18, with a Launch on May 16th. It will come exclusively at Verizon before heading to AT & T, Sprint and T-Mobile.

It is quite possible for Samsung to deliberately delay the launch of the S10 5G until Verizon's new 5G network becomes a little more stable and perhaps more widespread. For the moment, it's only available in Chicago and Minneapolis (and in downtown hotspots), but Verizon says its 5G service will reach 30 cities from here to the end of 2019.

Verizon declined to comment and Samsung did not respond to a request for comment on my theory.

I had the chance to go there convenient with the Galaxy S10 5G in February. Speeds will have a cost

Samsung and Verizon have not announced pricing for the Galaxy S10 5G, but we know that it will cost more than the $ 1,000 Galaxy S10 Plus. I think the total cost of Verizon's 5G service is $ 10 more per month, in addition to your usual data plan.

At a time when Phone costs increase, the advent of the 5G is an additional obstacle for people with a limited budget who are trying to keep up. Although we know that the costs will decrease at least once the new technology is installed, it may take years.

Verizon and Motorola both claim the price as the main reason for choosing Moto Z3 and 5G models.
